This week started off with us moms celebrating our dear friend Gale (front row - right) because she is going to have a "wee" boy in September! We are so excited for her and thought it would be fun to throw her a surprise baby shower at Fort Washington Park. She truly had no idea, and we all had a great time. This is the only picture I have because the rest of the time was spent make sure Cal didn't eat rocks or other peoples food off the ground.
Next, Cal and I went to a late night concert (5:30 p.m.!! - we're rebels) at Abington Art Center with our friends and danced the night away. Our (My) favorite songs were Bob Marley covers, since it reminded me of mine and Matt's trip to Jamaica, nearly two years ago!
Cal LOVES the rain. And so does his curly hair. He is a true Oregonian like his Mommy.
One of my favorite times of the day is when I get to take a morning nap with Cal. This is the one time I can get him to snuggle with me, and I soak up EVERY second, because I know he won't always want to do this.. especially when he's 13.
Cal has big, meaty, hands. That is all.
Lastly, a cool sprayground in Manayunk was introduced to us and it was just the right size for our little guy. He fends off the big kids the best when he's wearing the shirt in the pictures below.
